First step for GEOforCHILDREN in Thailand: music lessons!
We asked Margaret Grainger, Vice president at Hand to Hand Foundation, what project we could develop together, how we could help. She told us that they would love to start a music program for children. Said and done!
Last month a teacher started music lessons 3 hours a day for 6 days a week for children of different ages. The lessons will go ahead during the entire school year.
At Hand To Hand Foundation they organize many activities for many children living in poor conditions, such as pre-school for young kids, and scholarship program so that all children can attend school, which is still an unaffordable luxury for many families in the slums. Afternoon activities, such as the music lessons, are an additional safe place for kids to learn something news, to play and stay together.
Hand To Hand Foundation is doing a lot for many kids and families, and we are very happy and proud to support this. to keep doing this, we need you.
