On Sunday 7 August, during the 10th day of RIDE TO MOSCOW, Paolo, Alessandro, Arturo and all the team members cross the border between Poland and Belarus. It took more than 3 hours to enter the Country but then our cyclists can finally get on their bikes again and start the 10th stage of this long solidarity journey: after 130 km and more than 4 hours they reach Ivatsevichy. Today sponsor is KLIMA-THERM.
The 11th stage, sponsored by KFL, departed from Ivatsevichy and arrived in Stoŭbcy. During this 11° stage our cyclists ride along straight and not congested roads, before the wind: very good conditions that give them great relief after a very hard day like the day before. After 150 km at almost 34 km/h the group reach this day destination. 1700 km travelled so far: still 6 days to cover around 1000 km!
During the 12th stage, sponsored by ROSENBERG ITALIA, the group has to face a really different situation. To reach Barysaw it was necessary to stop riding more than once to find better and safer roads, avoiding highways and, at the same time, trying not to lengthen the itinerary. Goal reached and after 130 km, passing through the capital city of Minsk, the group ended this stage and reached Barysaw.
The 13th stage, sponsored by SEATRADE INTERNATIONAL, took place on Wednesday 10 August and is the last stage in Belarus. Around 150 km to reach Orsha, through gravel roads: this is part of RIDE TO MOSCOW too! Difficulties put our cyclists to the tests but do not stop them! When the first sign for MOSCOW appear in front of their faces, a burst of adrenaline, excitement and satisfaction leads them all towards the goal: the final destination is closer and closer and this is not the moment to give up. At all. After the arrival in Orsha the group start to think about the moment when they would meet young orphan boys and girls, to the relationships they would like to establish with them and, above all, to all the things that could be done to help them. This is the objective of RIDE TO MOSCOW and we need the help of everybody to reach it!
Next stage finally in RUSSIA and only 4 days to the final destination!
