{"id":10762,"date":"2016-09-30T08:29:32","date_gmt":"2016-09-30T08:29:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/geoforchildren.org\/?p=10762"},"modified":"2018-11-16T16:14:48","modified_gmt":"2018-11-16T16:14:48","slug":"illustration-by-livio-comisso-for-ride-to-moscow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/geoforchildren.org\/en\/illustration-by-livio-comisso-for-ride-to-moscow\/","title":{"rendered":"An illustration by Livio Comisso to represent RIDE TO MOSCOW"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We asked <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gradiscarte.com\/livio-comisso\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Livio Comisso<\/a>, a well-known local artist, to illustrate the RIDE TO MOSCOW charity journey.<\/p>\n<p>Comisso accepted our request and created a <strong>unique work of art<\/strong> that we will be happy and proud to give to our stage sponsors.<\/p>\n<p>A really big THANK YOU to Livio Comissio for supporting our initiative, transforming a 2500 km long journey into art.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-10763\" src=\"http:\/\/geoforchildren.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/comisso-300x217.jpg\" alt=\"Livio Comisso\" width=\"320\" height=\"231\" srcset=\"https:\/\/geoforchildren.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/comisso-300x217.jpg 300w, https:\/\/geoforchildren.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/comisso-768x555.jpg 768w, https:\/\/geoforchildren.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/comisso.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/>Comisso belongs to a generation of artists educated by the Gorizia Art School in the seventies. His creative path led him towards graphic design and quickly towards entrepreneurship in this field, for which he is now at the top in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. He has never abandoned painting, always intended as a mixture of sign and research, symbolism and aesthetics, making it during the years more and more rich in content and reflections that range from the sphere of personal feelings to participation in the events of history. His works are enhanced on large surfaces, with light background hues from which sudden light lines, textural concreteness, chromatic contrasts stand out, in a complex becoming of forms and ideas, harmonious and restless, surely speaking the language of a non-random modernity, but filtered through the constant direct knowledge of contemporary art that Comisso himself has been able to promote through its exhibition gallery.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We asked Livio Comisso, a well-known local artist, to illustrate the RIDE TO MOSCOW charity journey.
