“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”.
This philosophy guides us through the fragile world of orphan and abandoned children. And the first step was taken a few days ago, when a “Baby House” in Moscow received the material donated by some people who had come in contact with the Association and embraced our cause. The Baby House works in Moscow and houses children from birth to 4 years old who are waiting for medical clearance to be transferred to other orphanages: this children’s home receives about 500 children in need every year. The donation includes clothes and toys, which are primary assets during the growth of a child but that are never enough in centers like this.
A big thank you to everyone who donated something that otherwise would have been thrown away and that now is going to help a little child, and above all thank you to Tatiana and the other volunteers of “Baby House n. 6” in Moscow for their commitment, dedication and perseverance.
It is just a single step, the first one, but not the last one!
