On Thursday, June 21st, our volunteer Katerina, from GEOforCHILDREN, and the curators of the “Steps” project Tatyana and Julia were guests at the graduation evening at the Mytishchi children house.
Six kids has graduated this year: Lyosha, Katya, Vika, Denis, Artem and Dima. And we are so proud of each of them! These kids took part in our project “Steps”, which has represented for them an excellent incentive to finish the 9th (and final) year of school and go to college now.
The kids created exciting performance in music and art: Lyosha and Denis played the trumpet, Katya played the piano, Vika, Dima and Artem read poetry. Then, the children heard many pleasant words and useful tips from the director of the orphanage, the social workers, their teachers, from the GEOforCHILDREN organization and many other guests.
We are so glad that we has been close to these kids so far and we will continue to support them in every possible way! We are always ready to be around to give them further help and support!
