Comisso belongs to a generation of artists educated by the Gorizia Art School in the seventies. His creative path led him towards graphic design and quickly towards entrepreneurship in this field, for which he is now at the top in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. He has never abandoned painting, always intended as a mixture of sign and research, symbolism and aesthetics, making it during the years more and more rich in content and reflections that range from the sphere of personal feelings to participation in the events of history. His works are enhanced on large surfaces, with light background hues from which sudden light lines, textural concreteness, chromatic contrasts stand out, in a complex becoming of forms and ideas, harmonious and restless, surely speaking the language of a non-random modernity, but filtered through the constant direct knowledge of contemporary art that Comisso himself has been able to promote through its exhibition gallery.
