Ride to Dolomiti – start!

RIDE TO DOLOMITI started on Friday, July 28. Five days by bike across the Dolomites, 700 km and 11500 meters of elevation gain to raise money to help orphan children.

On Friday the 28^th of July at 10.00 the team of RIDE TO DOLOMITI departed from the Geoclima yard in Ronchi dei Legionari to start the long journey across the Dolomites. Five days for five stages: Auronzo di Cadore, Bressanone, Corvara, Cortina d’Ampezzo. The team of RIDE TO DOLOMITI includes 8 members: Paolo Ferraris, Gianluca Bagata, Arturo Giustina, Alessandro Ferraris, Fabio Tromba, Vincenzo Noschese, Alberto Aldighieri and Gianpiero Klancic.

There were also present the municipal councilor Antonio Macorini representing the municipality of Ronchi dei Legionari and the municipal councilor Simone Lupieri for the municipality of Fiumicello, where an event will take place on the occasion of the last stage and arrival of the cyclists on Tuesday, August 1^st.

There are also the local cycling team “Pedale Ronchese” who have accompanied for a couple of kilometers  the cyclists of RIDE TO DOLOMITI, followed also by a group of supporters and Geoclima employees.

The aim of the RIDE TO DOLOMITI is to raise money for the “A door for Life” initiative, which started last year – Paolo Ferraris says. The “A door for life” program started with RIDE TO MOSCOW in 2016 and, through lessons and work experiences, it supports the boys and girls from an orphanage in Russia and help them integrate into society.

The last stage of RIDE TO DOLOMITI will be on Tuesday, August 1^st in Fiumicello, where there will be a great event to welcome all cyclists and celebrate the end of the tour together.
